To Kill the Birds & the Bees follows three initially separate stories of four average Singaporeans – a pair of young twins, a secondary school prefect and a conservative housewife – who each encounter a sexual situation in the course of their day. Directed by Calleen Koh, Shahrazad contributed throughout the ideation process, then as character designer and animation director once production began. The film won Best Art Direction, Best Cinematography and Best Music at Singapore's National Youth Film Awards (Student Category) in 2021. It has gone on to be included in over 30 film festivals, including the Annecy International Animation Film Festival, Stuttgart International Festival of Animated Film and the Yugo Student BAFTA Awards 2022.
