To Kill The Birds & The Bees
Going into the project, we knew we wanted the characters to look a little wacky, with malleable shapes to push the animation style. We also decided the characters would be 'colour-coded', ie; girls would be pink and boys would be blue - just to be an example of the kind of stereotypical thinking that leads to the problems our characters face in the film. There might also be something phallic about the characters in the film...
